turkey on a brown rice wrap with mustard
sweet peppers and cherry  tomatoes


later a snack of rice checks and milk

a salad with pepperoni

dinner was meatloaf and sweet potatoes

Is it really only Tuesday ??

Is it really only Tuesday ??  That was my thought at about 6 am Tuesday ,lol gonna be a long week :)

Breakfast
Fried rutabaga,peppers & onions with an over easy egg and also an orange

Packed in my cooler for work ( it is more than a lunch box ,lol)

My second breakfast ( half of the 1st breakfast) string beans , lamb,lentil & quinoa veggie soup , walnuts & pumpkin seeds, turkey breast & ham, peaches & pears and a  banana ,, and lemon juice for my water .


Dinner
Roast pork with garlic, baked sweet potato and broccoli
For desert I had some blueberries .


Totals for the day

got all my vitamins/supplements  and water for the day


I am going back to counting exchanges again. No this is not weight watcher points system . It is diabetic exchanges. This works best for me( dont know why I stop doing it )
Counting calories is not the best way for me to go . It messes with my head to much.

Life happens

Life happens ,yep it does.

I have not posted in a few days, car repairs, the flu and drama  at work made last  week sooooooooooo much more than fun.
My weight appears to be stable so that is not a worry but my food has been less than stellar .
This morings breakfast

 a breakfast scramble,orange and coffee.
A breakfast scramble is the best way I have found to hide  enjoy all those wonderful veggies . This mornings scramble   included ; bok choy , snap peas,carrots ,mushrooms,red onions,rutabaga,egg and turkey sausage

snack was breakfast scramble ( I had saved for snack) and some blueberries.


Lunch

Quinoa & lentils with sun dried tomatoes & red onion also roasted pork with lots and lots of garlic .   A banana and some raw pumpkin seeds.

Afternoon snack
Ham on a flax seed bun and an apple

Dinner
leftover corned beef and cabbage also peaches and pears






I also had a banana earlier this afternoon

Sickness

Today it happened,, the illness I have been fighting off for the past 3 or 4 days finely  got me.Food update then I am off to bed.


Breakfast
breakfast scramble ( egg ,peppers,onions,bok choy, rutabaga ,mushrooms) and an orange 


Packed in cooler to take to work
orange and bacon, flax seed bun with ham and peaches, veggie soup with lentils,quinoa and lamb  and mixed berries . hard boiled egg and banana , lamb stir fry and an apple

Monday

I am still feeling a bit ill, not sick enough to be in bed but not 100% either.


Breakfast
a hard boiled egg and 1/2 an orange

Packed in my lunch box

Bacon and the other 1/2 of the orange, flax seed bun with ham, spaghetti ( squash) lunch,
an apple and walnuts and pumpkin seeds, turkey ( not really stuffing) stuffing , blueberries and a banana

Dinner
Corned beef hash ( made with rutabaga ,peppers and onions) and an egg, also ( no picture) a flax seed bun and apple sauce ,

Sensational Sunday

Snack,
apple and peanut butter
the apple and peanut butter did
not sit well . I have been questioning whither or not I was going to have to lose the peanut butter. I guess the last two days indicates the peanut butter is gone. This saddens me ;(


Between my celiacs disease , my food intolerances and my blood sugar issues , I have lost many foods. 
When I first was diagnosed  with celiacs the elimination of foods from my diet was meet with sheer hysterics. So not kidding! The crying and stomping my feet was not a pretty site .
Now losing a food is  sadness ,just plain sadness.

Lunch ,




Ham on a flax seed bun  and ( what I call turkey surprise) turkey,cauliflower,celery,onion,olive oil  and stuffing spices


Afternoon snack , a hard boiled egg and a banana


Dinner was spaghetti squash,spaghetti sauce ,ground lamb and veggies
with apple sauce for desert .
